2. Object of data Protection
The object of data protection is personal data. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (a so-called data subject). This includes data related to the subscription of the newsletter and mail correspondence, such as the name and email address, though other details are also necessarily created while using our website, such as the IP address and time and date of the subscription.
3. Newsletter
When you subscribe to our (free) newsletter, the following personal data are sent to us from the input dialogue: [Email address, surname*, first name* (*not mandatory)]. When you subscribe to our newsletter we will send the confirmation link to the email address you provided. It is only after you have activated the confirmation link that you will receive our newsletter (a double optin). Your data will be used exclusively for sending you the newsletter and will not be disclosed to third parties. We obtain your email address for the purpose of sending you our newsletter. All other personal data collected under the registration process serves the purpose of preventing any abuse of our services or of the email address we use. Our newsletter is distributed via MailChimp, who in addition to your personal data also collects data to analyze performance measurement. This data is used to improve the dispatch of our newsletter. By signing up to the newsletter you are consenting to this survey. A separate agreement not including the performance measurement is not possible. If a withdrawal from the measurement is requested the newsletter subscription must be cancelled entirely. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time. To do so, all you need to do is click on the unsubscribe link, available in each of our newsletters. Your data will be stored for the duration of your newsletter subscription, and it will be erased as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose. Any personal data that was additionally collected during the subscription process is usually erased when this data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
4. Social Plugins
This website uses social plug-ins from Instagram and Twitter. You will find two buttons on our website, enabling you to visit us on your preferred social media platform. When you click on a social media button, your browser uses this social plug-in to set up a direct connection to the server of the relevant social network. We have no influence on the scope of the data which is collected by the social media operators in this way. The operators process the information that you have called up our website.
